The 3M™ VHB™ high-performance connection systems are double-sided adhesive tapes made of acrylate adhesive. In addition, they show a high initial tack and good plasticizer resistance. Both thin and structured surfaces can be connected without tension. They offer a powerful combination of shear strength and peel force.
Applications:
Aircraft construction, vehicle, electrical and electronics industries, in shipbuilding and rail vehicle construction, in metal construction, etc. Use in constructions instead of screws, rivets, spot welding (even force distribution), etc.
